Debra A. Coats-Walton, MD is a native
Washingtonian. She is a proud graduate of Georgetown
University School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor
of Science degrees from North Carolina Central University
and from Howard University with honors. In 1995,
she completed her Dermatology Residency at the Washington
Hospital Center. In 1997, Dr. Coats-Walton continued
her career in Dermatology at the National Institutes
of Health, National Cancer Institute, completing a Dermatology
Fellowship in Pigment Cell Research as a Lieutenant Commander
with the Public Health Service.
Currently, Dr. Walton is the Medical Director of the Aesthetic Dermatology & Dermatologic
Surgery Center in Bowie, Maryland. She is also an Attending Physician at the
Washington Hospital Center and serves as a Faculty Member for the Howard University
College of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family Practice.
